Classic Lasagna Recipe
How To Freeze And Reheat Lasagna
This is the classic lasagne alla Bolognese recipe from the Emilia region in Northern Italy. The Bolognese sauce is made with a mix of beef and pork mince. The addition of prosciutto, purple wine, cinnamon, and nutmeg make it really genuine. Finish with one other layer of noodles. Spread the remaining sauce excessive layer of noodles and sprinkle with the remaining Mozzarella cheese. Transfer the meat combination to a medium sized (3- to four-quart) pot. Add the crushed tomatoes, tomato sauce, and tomato paste to the pot.
Add half of the ricotta cheese, by inserting cheese dollops every couple inches. Sprinkle half the grated parmesan cheese evenly over the top of ricotta cheese. In a 9×13-inch casserole or lasagna dish, ladle a cup of sauce and unfold it over the underside of the dish. Arrange one layer of lasagna noodles lengthwise over the sauce.
